Cars 4 Kids: Hands-On Learning for the Next Generation

Join us on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Reilly Auto Repair (850 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill, FL 32117) for an exciting, educational event designed to introduce kids to the FUNdamentals of cars. At Cars 4 Kids, we believe that everyone needs to understand the basics of the things they rely on in life—and cars are no different! Teaching young minds about vehicle essentials can save them time and money as they grow.

This family-friendly event is perfect for children, teens, and even adults who want to learn about cars in a fun, interactive environment. With the help of knowledgeable adults at every station, kids will earn their very own Kids Automotive Certification while learning how cars work.

Event Details

  • Location: Reilly Auto Repair, 850 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill, FL 32117
  • Date & Time: Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM
  • Parking: Available at Gina’s Restaurant, directly across the street. We are working with city officers to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience for all attendees.
  • Digital Waiver Required: All participants must sign a digital waiver before they can enter the learning stations. This ensures the safety of all kids and their full participation in the event. CLICK HERE to RSVP

What to Expect

  • Interactive Car Learning Stations: Hands-on experiences where kids will learn the fundamentals of car care and maintenance.
  • DJ, Games, and Prizes: A lively atmosphere with fun activities throughout the day.
  • Earn a Certificate: Kids who complete all the learning stations will be awarded their very own certification.
  • Supporting a Great Cause: In addition to educating the youth, this event is raising money to donate a car to a local child in need around the New Year. We’re working closely with the non-profit organization No Longer Fatherless, which mentors young boys in Daytona Beach who are growing up without a father figure. Why We Do It

At Reilly Auto Repair, we’re passionate about our community. Educating the youth in Daytona Beach and surrounding areas about car care is more than just about cars—it’s about empowering kids with knowledge that will serve them throughout their lives. Understanding car fundamentals not only saves time and money, but it also builds confidence in the next generation to take control of the vehicles they will someday rely on.

By hosting this event and working with local organizations like No Longer Fatherless, we aim to make a positive impact in our community, giving back to those who need it most.

Event Rules

  1. Waiver and Wristband Required: No one is allowed behind the designated areas or near the car stations without a signed waiver and wristband.
  2. Parental Supervision: All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event.
  3. Respect the Stations: Please treat all learning stations, equipment, and vehicles with care and respect.
  4. Stay in Designated Areas: Attendees must remain in the marked event areas and avoid restricted zones behind fences or barriers.
  5. No Running or Rough Play: For the safety of everyone, please refrain from running, horseplay, or any disruptive behavior.
  6. Follow Safety Instructions: Please listen to and follow all safety instructions provided by event staff and station leaders.
  7. No Outside Food or Drinks: To keep the event clean and safe, please do not bring outside food or drinks into the event area.
  8. No Smoking or Alcohol: This is a family-friendly event, and smoking or alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited within the event space.
  9. First Aid: In case of an emergency, first aid assistance will be available at the designated first aid station.
  10. Photography/Media: By attending, you agree to the potential use of your image for event promotional purposes unless otherwise notified.
  11. Respect Event Staff: Please be courteous and respectful to event staff, volunteers, and other attendees at all times.
  12. Lost and Found: Please report any lost items to the registration desk. Found items will be held there until the event concludes.
