Day of the Duels

For the 9th year in a row, a group of car enthusiasts will gather on the coastal side of Daytona and aim to raise funds for a good cause. Don’t let that fool you though, all eyes are on the cars. The featured car show of February is “Day of the Duels” and the setting is absolutely beautiful. The coastal Daytona is a drive-in Church located across the street from the beach. You can hear the Ocean as you walk around enjoying all different classic cars among other beauties. Daytona Beach Drive-in Christian Church is aiming to raise $100,000 worth of donations to directly contribute into their charities. The pre-registration is sold out but you can drive-up and purchase your ticket while supplies last. Displayed below is the list of awards they will be judging for this year's show.

This show projects to be a massive display of beautiful metal, engineering, craftsmanship, creativity, and most importantly Daytona culture. Daytona is the O.G of car culture. Americans raced the fastests cars on earth, at that respective time, on the sand. The waves came crashing down as they zipped by attempting to pass each other. What a time to be alive, and let me tell you how much I wish I could do burnouts on the beach with a race car!! The show is such a hot spot for locals the vendors list has sold out for nine years running. I know this because I attempted to sign up too late this year (what a bummer!), but this hasn’t discouraged us from driving over our very own 1966 Buick Skylark to this year's show. Check it out below:

When it comes to car culture of the Daytona Beach area, nothing stands out quite like a car show. The Daytona Car Society encompasses the auto culture in Daytona Beach and the surrounding areas by combining our auto network, experience, and expertise, all while sharing our experiences with others. We hope to see you at the Day of the Duels in Daytona Beach Shores.
